Personification is defined as the attribution of a personal nature or human characteristics to something nonhuman. How often do we assign our personal senses, thoughts, behaviors or feelings to horses? How would you interact and train horses differently, if you truly understood the amazing difference between horses and humans?
Did you know that humans have 72 times stronger ability to detect depth than horses? Or that a horse's sense of smell is similar to most canines and that they heavily depend on it for learning? What's crazy is that horses can even pick up low frequency sound vibrations in their teeth and jaw bones when grazing! And let's not forget about the fact that we actually have 2 different horses within the same body...R brained horse and left brained horse.
Come join me, Stephanie Goddard, and learn as I teach about cross-modular perception, visual capture, categorial perception and how our human (predator) mind can begin to understand how the horse's (prey) mind and senses work and how we can align to help our horses and get the most out of training sessions.

I'm so excited bring Lorre Mueller of Trinity Equine Services (from Smithville, TX) to the Heartland for a whole horse dissection weekend course. This dissection will be a very participatory dissection. The group size will allow ample time to observe, touch, and move different tissues and joints. It will give us all a chance to explore, ask each other questions, and seek the answers to those questions as a group. Lorre Mueller will lead much of the dissection but there will be welcomed participation from all who attend.
Pre-Registration is required and can be done at https://trinityequineservices.com/events.
White Horse Courses is excited to host Crystal Tinsley from St. Louis, MO in February. Come out and join other equine enthusiasts to learn about current and leading edge studies and research based breakdown of equine nutrition.
With so many products out there on the market, it's incredibly important to be educated on what true foundational nutrition consists of and how it affects the horse's foregut and hindgut. Equine specific nutritional care doesn't have to be confusing. Come hear Crystal simplify the information and walk away with an education and a team approach of supporting your horse's nutritional needs.
Crystal grew up on a small farm, just west of St. Louis Missouri. Her early years were spent starting young horses under saddle, barrel racing, team penning, as an exercise rider for track colts, and just about anything that involved horses.
While nurturing her other passions, fitness and nutrition, she attended and graduated from Maryville University with her bachelor’s in business management. Her heavy interests in equine nutrition has been key to serving and educating horse owners all over the nation.
